Well , in the few years to come ,maybe after I graduate from a local university , I might be postponing my internship and job-searching session . I got a brilliant plan but hang on ,what is it again ? Hmm,.. yes , I am going to travel to Europe . Some of my friend might ask , '' Dude , what about your internship and everything ? Then I said , '' I don't give a damn about it . HAHA .
But , I cannot travel to Europe alone . I got 2 flight ticket , bussiness class and it will be a waste if I travel alone . Then , Mom said , " Bring your girlfriend along , silly . Then I said , " You're right . I should bring Jessica along . Hey Mom , I love you . " Anyway , after that needless conversation , I went to Jessica ' s house to ask her parent's permission to bring her along . To my amazement , they gave the green light .
EUROPE , HERE I COME !!
On that Sunday morning , my brother drove me and Jessica to Bayan Lepas airport . While on the way to the airport , I enjoyed a healthy dose of Maroon 5 songs including my favourite , " Sunday Morning " .
We reached there at 5.00 am but the flight is scheduled to be two hours later . "So , what should we do now ?" , Jessica asked . Then , we decided to have some breaksfast at McDonald . Anyway , we board on our flight at 7.00 am .
Our first destination in Europe is London . The journey from KLIA to London took a killing 13 hours . That was also my first time travelling abroad . Anyway , we reached Heathrow International Airport at around 8.00 pm . I was expected to see some guy waiting for me at the airport . And there you go , I just saw Uncle Kenny with his Maybach waiting at the airport . I was delighted to see him after 10 years living far apart . He looked rather more British than Thai . His daughter , Jenny looked more like American to me .
Well , I guess I had to go on with the journey . It seemed that the weather in Highbury , London is quite cold . Yes , you guessed it right . We are now in Highbury , the birthplace of Arsenal FC . Here , it is considered a sin not to have an Arsenal jersey at home . Anyway , the next day , we did some window shopping at London . Window shopping because we did not know what to buy . I 'm not really those kind of guy who will go shopping . But it seemed Jessica is into it . I wonder what she buys?

THE COLONIAL STORY
Ladies and gentlemen , i want to share with you a love story . More epic than Titanic and its locally made . I called it colonial story . The story started when Mr. British came and set up a company in South East Asia . He got married to a local lady and bore a child named Singapore . Singapore grew up to be a very beautiful lady , equivalent of the elusive Nyonya beauty .
She was pampered and loved by Mr British . She gets to travel and buy anything she wants . What a luxurious life she had . One day , Mr British employed a young , energetic man named Malaya . Malaya was a very handsome and intelligent men . Malaya gets employed as a doctor at British-owned hospital . It happened that Miss Singapore was working voluntarily as a nurse at the same hospital .
When Mr Malaya saw Miss Singapore , he fell in love at the first sight . Mr Malaya then asked Miss Singapore on a date . Miss Singapore accepted his requested . How delightful he was ! On their first date , he took her to a French restaurant . As time goes by , Malaya told Singapore all of his deepest darkest secret . Surprisingly Singapore did not mention to him that she is Mr British's daughter . Mr Malaya did not suspect anything .
One night , Mr Malaya got so drunk that somehow , he arrived in front of Mr British ' grand mansion . Miss Singapore who was still awake saw him and asked him to enter the house through secret door . As he cleaned himself , Miss Singapore started to unveil herself , leaving herself only covered with lingerie . Shall I continue ? They had the best one night stand of their life . The room was becoming increasingly noisy that it attracted Mr British ' s attention . He took his shotgun , stormed the room only to find Mr Malaya and Mrs Singapore were making love .
He grew furious but keep his cool . As a European gentlemen , he told Mr Malaya to accept one of his two conditons . First , Mr British will call the police , detain Malaya , charged him for raping his daughter and gets to lose his job . Secondly , he must marry Singapore and gets to keep his job . Mr Malaya chose the latter . As the story goes by , Malaya was married to Singapore in a grand occasion . Now , they are pronounced Mr and Mrs Malaysia . 9 months later , Mrs Malaysia gave birth to a baby boy, Malaysia Junior .
Sadly , the climax was so anticlimax . Mr Malaysia was getting furious with Mrs Singapore for she keep demanding for a life Mr Malaysia cant afford to give . Few years later , Malaysia decided to called it a day for their marriage . Mr British can only watch helplessly as Mr Malaysia signed divorce letter with Mrs Singapore . It was as if the whole world is turning against Singapore . The child custody of Junior goes to Mr Malaysia in conditon that Mr Malaysia must bear the water and electrictiy bill of Mrs Singapore for the rest of his life . After the divorce , Mrs Singapore cried for day and night , to the extend of begging him to be her husband again but to no avail .
Now , 47 years had gone since their last divorce . Junior had become a fully grown man while Senior is counting his days to death . Now , what happened to Mrs Singapore ? Is she dead as a widow ? Is she a lonely pauper ? No , silly ! She is now the richest taukey in South East Asia . She took over his father's hospital and turned it into a multi billionaire entity . She bought over Malaysia , turning Malaysia into her servant . Their neigbours in Taman SEA are growing scared and began to treat her nicely . THE END

When i was small , i used to watch P. Ramlee's movies . His movies are
simple but somehow like many other Malaysians , i get hooked to it . Is
he putting a black magic on his movies ? No , of course . He is just
putting a brilliant movie script , combined with his amazing act and
music talent and walla , you'l have yourself an entertaining movie to
watch . Among my favourites are Bujang Lapok an
d Pak Belalang
But sadly , until now , Malaysian directors are only concerned about making horror movies which is not horrifying at all plus slapstick comedy movies in which the jokes are disgusting . These movies are cheap to made to they did not give something for the audience to think about . In other word , these are junk movies . They are not trying hard to produce a film of highest quality and standard without compromising the entertainment value
P.Ramlee on the other hand is a brilliant man . Anakku Sazali is a simple movie about a son being derhaka( disobidient ) to his father . He is trying to show the importance of filial piety . Bujang Lapok , on the other hand , is a comical way to describe the reality of life for most Malayan , living in a multiracial environment in the early 60's
I'm not telling all the movie directors to be exactly like him , but to actually to learn something from him . These people must move out from their comfort zone , be innovative and try to create a movie in which the audience will remember for years to come ( evergreen ) . Be more critical , please!
But sadly , until now , Malaysian directors are only concerned about making horror movies which is not horrifying at all plus slapstick comedy movies in which the jokes are disgusting . These movies are cheap to made to they did not give something for the audience to think about . In other word , these are junk movies . They are not trying hard to produce a film of highest quality and standard without compromising the entertainment value
P.Ramlee on the other hand is a brilliant man . Anakku Sazali is a simple movie about a son being derhaka( disobidient ) to his father . He is trying to show the importance of filial piety . Bujang Lapok , on the other hand , is a comical way to describe the reality of life for most Malayan , living in a multiracial environment in the early 60's
I'm not telling all the movie directors to be exactly like him , but to actually to learn something from him . These people must move out from their comfort zone , be innovative and try to create a movie in which the audience will remember for years to come ( evergreen ) . Be more critical , please!
